Working in plugin development, one of the toughest parts is managing feature requests. Balancing customer requests with keeping the plugin lightweight and focused is a constant challenge.
One strategy that has worked well is maintaining a “core” plugin philosophy—only including features that are essential, and suggesting complementary plugins for add-ons.
